Licensing & Intellectual Property Policy
Last Updated: October 19, 2026 • Published by Zaventra Music Group Operations
Policy Summary: Clear rules regarding distribution licences, commercial synchronization, master ownership, and third-party DSP rights grants.
1. Scope & Rights Grants
Zaventra Music Group operates as a digital music distributor and label services provider. When submitting content, you grant Zaventra a non-exclusive (or exclusive, where contractually agreed in a separate agreement) licence to ingest, distribute, monetize, and deliver your sound recordings and associated metadata to digital service providers (DSPs) worldwide.
2. Master Ownership Distinction
A distribution agreement does not automatically transfer master recording or publishing ownership. Rights holders retain 100% of their underlying masters unless a separate, valid written assignment or master acquisition agreement has been executed.
3. Synchronization & Commercial Exploitation
Sync placement in broadcast, gaming, commercial advertising, and film requires explicit one-stop clearance and mutual authorization between the rights owner and Zaventra Music Group.
