1. Purpose of Profile Mapping

Instagram profile mapping associates an artist's official verified Instagram account with their distributed releases in the Meta audio library (Instagram Reels, Stories, and Facebook Music). Proper mapping ensures that when users select the artist's tracks, the audio links directly to the artist's official Instagram profile.

2. Four-Step Verification & Mapping Process

Step 1 — Profile Request Intake: The artist or label manager submits the artist name, exact Instagram profile URL, handle (@username), and catalog release IDs / ISRCs.
Step 2 — Identity Verification: Zaventra operations verifies that the submitted profile matches the registered artist entity and that the requester holds authorized management rights.
Step 3 — Catalog Matching: The profile handle is cross-referenced with DDEX metadata deliveries sent to Meta audio systems.
Step 4 — Execution & Verification: The mapping instruction is submitted to Meta music operations. Status is updated to Mapped once Meta systems reflect the association.

3. Operational Limitations

Profile mapping connects catalog audio to an Instagram handle; it does NOT grant an Instagram verified badge (blue checkmark) or alter Meta’s independent platform policies. Meta processing timelines may vary.
