This Privacy Policy explains how Zaventra Music Group, operated by Zaventra Industries Private Limited (“Zaventra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our music distribution and management platform and its Google and YouTube integrations, including Google OAuth 2.0 and the YouTube Data API.

By using our YouTube integration, you also agree to comply with the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to registered users of Zaventra Music Group services, including administrators, agents, label partners, artists, and other authorized users who connect their Google or YouTube accounts to our platform.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, we may collect:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and profile details provided when creating or managing your account.
  • Google profile information: Name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier made available through the authorization process.
  • YouTube channel information: Channel ID, channel name, description, custom URL, country, thumbnails, subscriber count, video count, and view count, where available through the authorized API.
  • Video information: Video listings, metadata, and channel statistics required for the features you use.
  • OAuth authorization information: Access tokens, refresh tokens, granted permissions (scopes), and token expiration details, where applicable.
  • Technical and security information: Connection status, error diagnostics, and logs reasonably required to operate, maintain, and secure the Service.

The information actually collected depends on the permissions granted and the features enabled in your account.

3. Google and YouTube Permissions

When you connect a Google or YouTube account, the authorization process may request the following permissions, depending on the enabled features:

  • Google account identification: openid, email, and profile, to identify the authorized account and access basic profile information.
  • YouTube read access: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly, to read authorized channel information and video listings.
  • YouTube upload access: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload, to upload videos when you explicitly initiate or authorize an upload through the Service.

The permissions displayed on Google's authorization screen are the permissions requested for that connection. We will only claim to use permissions that are actually configured and requested by the Service.

4. How We Use Google and YouTube Data

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

We use authorized data only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Identify the Google account connected to your Zaventra account.
  • Display YouTube channels associated with the authorized Google account.
  • Show available channel information, statistics, and video listings.
  • Upload videos or set thumbnails when the relevant feature is available and you explicitly initiate or authorize the action.
  • Maintain the authorized connection and handle token refresh where applicable.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, maintain platform security, and prevent misuse.

We do not sell Google or YouTube API data. We do not use it for advertising or purposes unrelated to providing or improving the user-facing features of the Service.

We do not use Google or YouTube API user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, and we do not transfer it to third-party AI services for model training.

Human access to such data is restricted to circumstances permitted by applicable Google policies and law, such as when you provide consent, when necessary for security or abuse investigations, or when legally required.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share Google account information, YouTube data, or OAuth tokens with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes.

Information may be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, and integrity of our users or Service, subject to applicable requirements and Google policies.

Access to connected channel information is restricted according to the user's authorization and the permissions assigned to the relevant account. Authorized administrators may have access to information within their assigned responsibilities.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain Google authorization information and related channel records only for as long as necessary to provide the connected features, meet legitimate operational requirements, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

When you disconnect your Google or YouTube account, we will stop using the revoked authorization for future access. Where applicable and technically supported, we will delete the associated access and refresh tokens and remove related account or channel records, subject to lawful retention requirements.

Where token revocation is supported, we will request revocation of the authorization. You can also revoke access at any time through Google Account Permissions.

For additional data deletion requests, contact legal@zaventramusicgroup.com.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

Where applicable, OAuth credentials are protected through restricted access controls and secure transmission. We follow relevant Google OAuth security requirements and applicable platform policies.

No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Service. Where applicable law establishes different requirements, we will comply with those requirements.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal obligations, or third-party integrations. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Where required, we will provide notice or obtain consent.
